[SDBUG] Benchmarks on servers?

  Hi guys.

  I juts wondering about went u setup new servers running BSD/Linux did 
u run some benchmark software on each server to disk, network or what 
else u test?

  Example, if u are going to run some NFS/Samba server what benchmark 
programs u run?
  If u are going to run a apache server?
  If u are going to run a ftp server?
  A mail server?

   What normally u do to say "Ok this server is ready for producction"?

  I just would like get some tips about what to do before I put a server 
in producction.
